FARMINGDALE, NY (08-30-17): EtQ is pleased to announce the finalists of EtQ’s 2017 Innovation Excellence Award.
As part of EtQ’s commitment to fostering innovation within its customer base, EtQ continues to celebrate customer ingenuity with its successful award program. The EtQ Innovation Excellence Award Program recognizes those customers who have implemented EtQ’s software in innovative ways to address a key business challenge that has significantly impacted their business. This year, EtQ has selected the top three finalists who will present their innovative applications at EtQ’s 21st Annual User Conference to be held from October 9th – 11th at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, Chandler AZ.
The three finalists and their innovations are:
- DuPont: DuPont created a task manager module, which allows them to leverage EtQ’s workflow for all types of tasks, including ones that didn’t necessarily fit into a specific process, but still need to be tracked. This was a great use of the product beyond module and process level and demonstrates the value of EtQ beyond EHS and quality, but as a business process automation tool.
- Halyard Health: Halyard has designed and developed an Audit Module that builds on the central principles of the Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP) meeting the regulatory requirements of five countries namely U.S., Canada, Brazil, Japan, and Australia. In addition, this module meets the regulatory requirements of Europe and other countries by complying to ISO-13485 and other Medical Device Regulations. The elements of this module include audit planning, scheduling, execution, scoring, reporting, follow-up of corrective actions including significant checks on standards, and auditor qualifications.
- Leidos: Leidos created enhancements within their quality records module that include the ability to track documents stored in their Iron Mountain facility. This innovative module shows the link between physical records and how they are managed within a solution to be treated outside. It’s able to track the boxes sent and delivered, disposition details and retrieval information that is related.
“Each year we see a culmination of innovation and integration that goes beyond the standard,” stated Glenn McCarty, Chief Executive Officer of EtQ. “This year, it was especially clear that with EtQ, remarkable innovations can be put into practice that benefit unique business needs. We are proud of our top three finalists, as well as each entry.”
