Recertification issued to ETQ from standards body after demonstrated ability to meet customer, statutory and regulatory standards.
BURLINGTON, Mass., August 7, 2023 — ETQ, part of Hexagon announced today that, following an extensive audit, it has been recertified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and 27001. Compliance to the standards set forth by ISO affirm ETQ’s commitment to quality in its operations and in the development of the ETQ Reliance quality management system (QMS).

ISO 9001 requires organizations to define and follow a reliable quality management system, while identifying areas for improvement and taking action toward those improvements. The standard is designed to help organizations ensure they meet the needs of customers and stakeholders while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to their products or services. ETQ demonstrated that it successfully meets the key quality management system principles, for quality, environmental management and health & safety system management.
ETQ was recertified for continuing to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001, for the development, hosting and IT administration of quality management systems. The international standard, originally published jointly by ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission, is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). Conformity with ISO/IEC 27001 means that an organization has an effective system to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the company.
